Who are Beavers?

Beaver Scouts (6-8 years) are the youngest section of the Scouting family. Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, learning how to be safe and, of course, making new friends and discovering what it means to be part of a group. During their time with us, our Beavers are also introduced to some more adventurous Scouting activities, including night hikes and sleepovers.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of adult volunteers, we aren’t able to support a Beaver section at Bridestowe Scouts right now. If you’re interested in volunteering as an adult leader and would like to help us re-start the Beaver section, please contact us or see our volunteering page for more information.

Meeting Place: Bridestowe Village Hall or as stated in the programme.

Time: Wednesdays or as stated in the programme.

Fees: £32 per term plus £5 for group scarf.

Time and venue vary depending on the activity. Some activities (such as sleepovers) cost extra.
