Cub Camp

Scouts are invited to join us for a back-to-basics patrol camp at Callisham Cross, Yelverton for the weekend 14-16 June 2019. We’ll be dividing our Scouts into small patrols, and each patrol will take charge of prepping and cooking their food over campfires. Leaders will be on hand to give instruction in the safe use of tools and equipment and ensure they don’t poison themselves or set fire to any tents!

On Saturday afternoon we’ll be visiting Meavy Oak Fair where Scouts will be able to join in the various games and activities on offer. Scouts should bring some pocket money (suggested amount £10) for this activity. There should also be plenty of time for fun and games back at the campsite, including grass sledging and wide games.

To book your place, please download, complete and return the activity information form below to Simon Miles, Group Scout Leader, by Wed 22 May with your payment of £30 per person. Cash in an envelope or cheque payable to Bridestowe Scout Group.
